WINTER GAMES 2022-23

Winter Games 2022-2023 (Youth) 

The Ontario Curling Council administers all province-wide, Multi-Sport Winter Games on behalf of its members, CurlON and the Northern Ontario Curling Association. In 2022-23, both the Ontario Winter Games and the Canada Winter Games will be played in the same season.

**Due to requirements at the Canada Winter Games all athletes and coaches are required to be FULLY VACCINATED in order to compete in the Qualifiers** 

Ontario Winter Games – Renfrew County – February 2-5, 2023 

Canada Winter Games – Prince Edward Island – February 18-March 5, 2023 

Curling will host three disciplines at each of these Games:

  • U18 Men – Four Person – qualifying age: 17 or under on June 30, 2022 
  • U18 Women – Four Person – qualifying age: 17 or under on June 30, 2022 
  • U20 Mixed Doubles – qualifying age: 20 or under on June 30, 2022 

**Athletes may only compete in one discipline** 

Registration opens August 15th, 2022.

U20 Mixed Doubles – October 28-20, 2022 
*One qualifier from each Northern site and three qualifiers from each Southern site 

Registration Deadline: Monday, October 17, 2022  
Entry Fee: $200 + HST 
North East: Copper Cliff Curling Club – Register 
North West: Kakabeka Falls Curling Club – Register
South East: TBD – Register
South West: Grimsby Curling Club – Register 

 

U18 Fours (Men & Women) – November 25-27, 2022 
*One qualifier from each site. The two sites with the most entries will receive one extra spot

Entry Fee:  $400 + HST

*First place in each discipline will represent Ontario at the Canada Winter Games  

**Second through fifth place teams in each discipline will qualify for the Ontario Winter Games
