The Ontario Curling Council (OCC) is pleased to launch a new “Support for Curling Program” on behalf of its membership associations, the Ontario Curling Association (OCA) and Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA). Together with the True Sport Foundation, curling clubs can register projects or programs for which they are trying to raise funds. The Canadian Curling Association has announced the re-certification requirements for Competition-Introduction and Competition-Development coaches. In a nutshell, coaches must accumulate 20 or 30 “points”, respectively, in each five-year period following the year in which they first become a certified coach in order to remain certified within the sport.
