Amethyst “Junior” Curling Camp

The Ontario Curling Council is happy to announce that we’ll be delivering our first ever “Amethyst Junior”, a day camp specifically for young curlers aged 7 to 11. Each day will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm with off ice activities hosted at École Publique Odyssée in North Bay Ontario .  Campers will have two on ice sessions daily at the North Bay Granite Club. Campers will be able to work with little rocks or standard rocks depending on their skill level.

The camp will start on Monday morning July 11 and will conclude on Friday July 15. The campers will be based within walking distance of the North Bay Granite Club.  Camp hours will be 8:30am to 4:30pm each day.

Campers will be required to provide their own curling equipment and bring their own lunches for the day. A more detailed list of what to bring will be provided to registered campers. All of our knowledgeable staff have been Safe Sport trained and will have a valid criminal background check on file.

The camp is more than just curling training. Our mission is to provide young curlers a fun, memorable, and positive experience which will hopefully build their love of the game. We place a high priority on the experience as whole and make considerable efforts to include activities that encourage kids to make new friends and generally enjoy their time with us.

To register, campers will need a Curler Profile

Space is limited for this inaugural Amethyst Junior Camp so register early for your spot.
