About the Ontario Curling Council

The Ontario Curling Council (formerly Curl Ontario), a non-profit organization incorporated in 1981, is the provincial sport organization for the sport of curling in Ontario.  Its membership includes the Northern Ontario Curling Association (NOCA) and CurlON.

The Ontario Curling Council (OCC) is an affiliate member curling’s national sport organization, Curling Canada.

The Ontario Curling Council was formed to act in a coordinating role between its member associations when liaising with the Ministry of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries (MHSTCI).

Working together with CurlON and NOCA, the OCC is committed to improving athlete performances, increasing opportunities for Ontarians to curl, supporting programs and services, and improving the strength of curling clubs through education, programming and expertise.
